WordPress Plugin Overview
What is a WordPress Plugin?
Section titled “What is a WordPress Plugin?”A WordPress Plugin is a tool that adds specific features or functionality to your WordPress site. Rather than modifying the core code of WordPress, plugins allow you to easily extend and customize your site with new features, such as SEO tools, forms, or custom content types.
Plugins are designed to be simple to install and activate, and they give you the ability to add complex features without needing to write code. There are thousands of plugins available, both free and paid, that can help you add anything from social media sharing buttons to advanced SEO features.
Common Plugins We Use

-
Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro): This plugin allows you to create custom fields for your posts, pages, or custom post types. It makes it easy to add more structured content beyond the default WordPress editor.
-
Yoast SEO: This plugin helps improve your website’s SEO (Search Engine Optimization). It provides tools for optimizing your content, generating sitemaps, and ensuring that your site is search engine-friendly.
These plugins are installed to make your WordPress site more powerful and user-friendly without needing custom development for every feature.
